Fast & Furious & FOUR A Fierce Hot wheels Racing Birthday Party!

MILES TURNED FOUR!!!!! And I CANNOT believe how fast time has flown by! He is imaginative, kind, playful, and determined. When he loves something he loves it HARD and let me tell you, this boy LOVES CARS! When it came time to celebrate his birthday I wasn’t sure what to do. With COVID cases still on the rise and, friends not gathering, I figured a little cupcake playdate and a jumping balloon would have to do.
Even though we couldn’t do a real party, my heart was so FULL when I saw how happy Miles was when the jumping balloon arrived! He was smiling ear to ear and kept asking when his “Best Friend Ezra” was going to arrive. The two jumped, played & fought… because they’re 4-year boys…LOL and Miles went to bed asking if he can have his birthday again the next day. It just goes to show you, that sometimes a little less is more…just another lesson that my kids have taught me.
The Details:
Miles doesn’t care for sweets, so when it came time to put together his little Hotwheels Racing Birthday Party I opted for healthy snacks, like his favorite Cookies N Cream Protein ZBars & Peanut butter brownie bars from Clif Kid. along with Apples, Popcorn, Cherries! For his “cake” I got mini cupcakes from my favorite local El Paso cupcake shop, The Master’s Palace, and they were a perfect size! I topped the cupcake with a new Hotwheel and called it a day! The decorations were thrown together “fast & furious” just like our FOUR-year-old boy!
DIY white & black balloon arch (these are super easy to make)
You will need:
5-inch black balloons
Pump up balloons, attach the ends to the balloon tape & voila! You are done!
Fuel snack boxes – I used these as favor boxes and they turned out so cute! Available at my favorite local party shop – Hello me Party
Double Loop Hot wheels race track – Walmart
White Bunted Banner – I created this banner by writing out “FOUR” and coloring white and black squares on the last two flags. You can adjust with whatever age your child is turning, and add more black and white checkered flags to fit the area of your needs.
