Dear Marley,
I have goosebumps as I try to write this letter for you. I can hardly formulate the words to tell you how much you mean to us. Today, you are ONE and I am filled with so many emotions. My heart is doing flip flops because a whole year has gone by and it all went too fast. I want to catch every moment as it flies by. As you smile, giggle, and chase Miles I wanna freeze it. I want to hold on to it all and, I never want to forget how incredibly little and sweet you are. God truly knew what he was doing when he gave me you and I am forever grateful.
Marley girl, If you read this one day I hope you know that you are capable of anything you put your heart and mind to. In this world, don’t ever be afraid to be yourself. God created you to be unlike anyone else. So SHINE! Because you are TRULY one of a kind. In this life, you will laugh, love, feel overwhelmed, be heart broken, lose, and learn and, no matter what you are feeling always continue the path. You will get through it. You will adapt. You will be victorious because God will never give you something you can’t handle. No matter where you go, I hope that you know that you are SO loved, and are never alone. We are here to support you and God is always with you.
Raise by lifting up others. Spread kindness where ever you go. Learn how to go with the flow. Remember to stop and count your blessings. Practice the art of listening. Rest when you need it. Laugh and Play with all your heart and in the end, throw your arms in the air and enjoy the ride baby girl. You are strong. Smart. Spirited and so sweet. We love you with all of our hearts .
